Safe production environment

A safe production environment is in everyone’s best interest. It stimulates employee productivity and results in higher quality end products. In addition, the government and consumers place high demands on food safety. Van Lente Systeemintegratie has extensive knowledge and experience related to (food-)safe systems and assembly methods. We comply with the strictest standards in this area and have been an active member of the National EHEDG working group since 2014.

The advisors at Van Lente possess a wealth of specialist knowledge on:

  • Engineering and installation of EHEDG-worthy installations;
  • The application of hygiene zoning in factories (no care, basic/medium/high care);
  • The application of the correct company rules (PPE, company resources);
  • Engineering and building hygienic panels;
  • The application of hygienic hardware components;
  • The cleaning procedure (CIP);
  • And the prevention of contamination (product cross-mixing)

Cybersecurity by Van Lente

Linking the production or process automation to other systems or the Internet makes processes more accessible and insightful. Van Lente specialises in cybersecurity and we have ISA99/IEC 62443 Cyber Security certified software engineers on our team. Our software engineers can secure your (existing) processes and lock them down against unwanted visitors to minimise the danger of digital breaches, data leaks, or even process takeovers.

Machine and process safety

A safe machine is the basis of a safe work environment for your employees. Our engineers can make an inventory of your equipment and assess it for functional safety (SIL/PL) and CE standards. Environmental and process influences such as gas and dust explosions (ATEX) may pose a danger to your production process and your employees. Van Lente can advise you on technical measures for safeguarding safety.

Building safety

A safe building is the foundation of a safe work environment for your employees. It means that every employee can focus entirely on his or her own work. Allow Van Lente to advise you on the installation, management and maintenance of complete building safety, for example:

  • intruder protection
  • fire prevention and evacuation
  • access systems
  • camera systems and camera security

NEN 3140 – Operational management of electrical installations

Proper electrotechnical operational management is not only legally required, but also crucial for maximum safety and productivity in the work environment. From support during the implementation of NEN 3140 to carrying out inspections, Van Lente is the right choice. Van Lente is certified in accordance with SCIOS, scope 8 and 9. The new quality standard for inspection of electrical installations and equipment!

Thermographic testing in accordance with NPR 8040-1

A thermographic test is an excellent addition to an NEN 3140 inspection. It is also a good example of preventative maintenance. The so-called hotspots in the installation are revealed with the use of a thermal imaging camera (infrared). These points could never be traced with the naked eye. The causes for these hotspots in the installation are varied. They could include bad connections, loose contacts, overloading, asynchronous loads or even internal issues in electric motors.

Thermographic testing is a good way to prevent risks, production stops and all associated financial consequences. The availability of your installation is increased, and the continuity of your process is more secure.

Inspection and maintenance of emergency lighting

Emergency lighting is unsafe if no maintenance is carried out. It is determined by law that you must have your system tested and maintained annually. If you do not comply, your insurance is unlikely to pay out in case of an accident.

The template for inspection and maintenance of emergency lighting we use is the prescribed guideline ISSO publication 79-2010. This guideline was developed in cooperation with the fire service and the Dutch Association of Emergency Lighting Manufacturers (NVFN), among other.

The results of the inspection and the subsequent recommendations are recorded in a maintenance report and a logbook for each fitting. We will also issue you with a certificate. This certificate and the logbook reports enable you to prove compliance to monitoring bodies such as the fire service and the SZW inspection.
