Industrial Automation

By integrating and linking different systems in the various layers of the production process, Van Lente Systeemintegratie offers integrated automation solutions. From hardware and software engineering to electrical installations and from panel construction to service & maintenance.

We will sit down together to explore a wide range of technical solutions from angles such as process optimisation, logistical excellence and production efficiency. We work on major and minor automation projects for large and small industrial companies, involving everything from new automation and control systems to adaptations or improvements to existing production processes.

Process and market knowledge

Van Lente Systeemintegratie has been a household name in the food, dairy, meat and animal feed industries for 85 years. Driven by our core values of Respect, Ambition and Reliability, we work on high-quality industrial automation solutions and long-lasting relationships with all our customers every day.

Specialisation, standards and smart technology

Van Lente’s specialists are highly familiar with commonly used systems, such as PLC, SCADA DCS and MES. Linking databases and other systems, as well as setting up virtual PCs or servers, is also an important part of what we do. “From sensor to manufacturing system.” Van Lente works with the applicable technical standards, such as ISA 88, ISA 95 and ISA99.

As a system integrator, we keep a close eye on developments in the Smart Industry 4.0. In everything we do, we try to distill a wide range of smart, far-reaching technological developments into concrete solutions that can be used in your situation. Many transformations will be impossible without a foundation built on data and information flows. We would be happy to work with you to build a Smart Factory. Functional engineering and implementation

Successful projects always begin with thorough research and pre-engineering. To improve or change your automation process, we would like to take a closer look at your current production process in person first, in order to find the most efficient installation(s) or control systems for your situation.

During the realisation phase, ideas will really become tangible. Thanks to our expertise and thorough knowledge of processes, projects are realised quickly and efficiently. By listening carefully and sitting down together to think outside of set standards, we are proud to offer technical installations and systems that exceed expectations. Adding intelligence to your installations allows you to gain more insight, whilst improving the manageability and predictability of your process.

In the implementation phase, just before commissioning, we will carry out various acceptance tasks, including FIT, FAT and SAT, which can take place on site or in our own workshop. When we have established that everything is working as it should, we will finalise the project. However, this does not mean that our work is done.

We believe that delivery is often followed by an invisible or underestimated phase. We like calling this phase the knowledge transfer phase, during which we’ll familiarise you with new methods and work together on identifying future process improvements. Many technological changes or innovations fail in practice because the social innovations they require are not given enough attention. After this final step, organisations and the people who work for them will be able to actually put technological developments to good use.
